Finally, I’ve gotten around to posting my first couple of blog entries about my summer trip to East Asia. I’ve started with Japan — the first country I visited with my husband and mom. Every week to come, I will post a new entry about the other three places we visited: Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. They’re all fascinating places. 30-sec ad for the Tide-to-Go Stain Remover Pen will premiere nationwide
on TV on WEDNESDAY, SEPT 10 on NBC during "America’s Got Talent"
(8-10pm).  Although I did not win the YouTube voting competition,
representatives from Tide really liked my concept and decided to use my
ad.  I am very excited and I hope this exposure will lead to more
opportunities for me to direct commercials.

On the day of the
premiere, I will launch a "Making of" page on my personal website
detailing the steps I went through to complete the ad: www.saqibsiddik.com.  Thank you all for your support throughout this project.  I hope

There’s another way to help Saqib become a finalist, which involves going to the contest homepage and watching each submitted ad one at a time… until you find Saqib’s… and then you can actually rate it. But that might take forever, since there are 1,100+ ads competing in this contest. So it’s much easy and faster to just do it the way I outlined above. Thanks!
